Stuart David Custom Oak Office Work Station Desk and Library Bookcases with Rolling Ladder — HO000 - In 1961 Stuart and his wife Lela Mae converted a small garage into Stuart's Cabinet Shop in the small California Central Valley town of Ceres. Their youngest son, David, developed such an affinity for quality constructed, solid wood furniture that he chose to design and build his own for his wife, Linda, and their young growing family. In the late 1970s Stuart's Fine Furniture began building roll-top desks and other home furnishings, expanding their operations and opening a store-front in nearby Modesto, Ca. Today Stuart David Home Furnishings builds Custom Wood Furniture for the Home and Office in our state of the art 145,000 square-foot factory located just one block away from Stuart's original garage shop. We have a 30,000 square-foot Showroom that services the Greater Central Valley including Greater Sacramento, East Bay, Foothills and Greater Fresno. In addition to our Wood Furniture, on display in the Showroom are Amish Made Dining Tables and Chairs and other American Made Upholstery and Leather Furniture. The majority of the furniture on display is highly customizable because here at Stuart David, we are all about Choice.
